As a recognized leader in their field, the company continues to grow internationally and is looking for a Backend Developer (Ruby) to join their expanding engineering team.


Your Role

As a Backend Developer, you will design and build scalable backend systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code with strong test coverage
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects on system design and feature development
  • Provide recommendations to improve system performance and code quality
  • Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance)
  • Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the team
  • Review code to ensure high standards of quality and maintainability

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns
  • Strong focus on code quality and testing
  • Interest in modern architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud-based systems)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React)
  • Familiarity with GraphQL
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and distributed systems
