Senior Developer
Industry: Energy and Commodity Trading
Location: London, United Kingdom
Salary: £110,000 + 20-30% annual bonus
As a talented Senior Full Stack Developer, you will help us continue expanding our global analytics platform, utilizing rich data generated by our in-house trading system and external datasets. Your role will enable you to interface directly with the business, including tank operators and top management, in order to drive requirements and deliver a wide range of capabilities.
As a member of our analytics team, in our London, UK office, your responsibilities will include:
- Working with a distributed team to develop a strategic set of analytics applications.
- Participating in the full development life cycle, from definition and design to delivery.
- Working directly with end users to drive requirements and delivery value-add features.
- Delivering on short deadlines with focus on quality and performance.
- Collaborating with the global team, including participation in daily scrum meetings, peer reviews, and design sessions.
- Delivering testable and maintainable code for globally distributed systems.
Qualifications:
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent field.
- 8 -10 years’ experience working with C# and related .NET technologies within global enterprise solutions.
- 5+ years in front end development preferably web (React).
- Excellent user interface building skills, perfectionist approach to styling/CSS.
- Passion for creating the best user experience.
- Strong proficiency using modular JavaScript, async patterns, and DOM manipulation.
- Awareness of continuous integration and delivery concepts/technologies.
- Experience with RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
