Senior Expert – Enterprise Information Lifecycle Management (EILM)

Role Summary

Senior hands-on expert supporting an enterprise initiative to define and implement an Enterprise Information Lifecycle Management (EILM) framework, including operating model, governance and high-level architecture in a regulated environment (GxP).

Key Responsibilities

Define end-to-end information lifecycle model (create ? use ? retain ? archive ? delete)
Design target operating model including governance, roles and responsibilities
Define architecture principles for archiving, content management, and data retention
Support application retirement and legacy system decommissioning
Ensure alignment with compliance, audit and regulatory (GxP) requirements
Contribute to RFP preparation and vendor evaluation approach

Required Experience

10+ years in enterprise archiving, data retention or records management
Proven experience in application retirement / SAP archiving initiatives
Strong understanding of information lifecycle management concepts
Experience in regulated environments (Pharma / GxP preferred)

Technical Knowledge

SAP archiving (preferred)
Enterprise archiving tools (e.g. OpenText, Solix or similar)
Content management systems (e.g. SharePoint, DMS)
Data retention, legal hold and compliance requirements

Profile

Senior, hands-on expert (execution-focused, not purely advisory)
Strong stakeholder management across IT, business and compliance
Pragmatic mindset with focus on scalability and simplicity
Able to operate independently in complex environments
