Job Description

Industry: Consultancy & Advisory (Global Healthcare / Health Care Division within a global IT services and consulting business)

Location: Dublin, Ireland (hybrid/onsite as required)

Rate: € £516/day

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a cross-functional squad delivering high-impact change within a regulated healthcare environment. You will elicit and define requirements, shape the squad roadmap, and ensure delivery remains aligned to business and Group priorities while balancing value and technical feasibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand user needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the Squad.
  • Build use cases, user stories, visualisations, and process flows to support solution design.
  • Stay 2–3 sprints ahead of the squad and ensure each feature has a clear Definition of Done.
  • Communicate vision to developers and testers, ensuring shared understanding of outcomes and acceptance criteria.
  • Document confirmed business processes to serve as a reference for development and IT support.
  • Apply business process improvement methods to optimise workflows and reduce waste.
  • In partnership with the Product Owner, maintain a deep understanding of the domain to ensure backlog priorities align with business/Group needs.
  • Shape and prioritise the backlog using business expertise and customer insight; translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Track metrics and build reports to measure progress, benefits realisation, and delivery health.
  • Help manage dependencies across squads, collaborating with squad PO, peer POs, and other stakeholders.
  • Shape the squad vision/roadmap and steer delivery towards measurable business impact.
  • Balance business value with technical feasibility when prioritising stories and defining scope.
Requirements
  • Understand user and business needs, translating them into clear, detailed requirements for delivery teams.
  • Strong Agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban), including backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies.
  • Skilled in requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in process modelling and documentation (e.g., BPMN/flow diagrams), and writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience with metrics, reporting, and outcome-based delivery; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare/regulated domains and appreciation of controls, auditability, and data governance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with strong attention to detail.
