SAP CPI Integration Specialist

Location: Germany / Poland / Spain
Work Model: Hybrid / Remote
Experience: 6–10 years

Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced SAP CPI Integration Specialist to support the design, development, and delivery of integration solutions across complex enterprise environments. This role focuses on leveraging SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) to enable seamless connectivity between SAP and non-SAP systems within modern digital landscapes.

The successful candidate will bring strong middleware expertise and play a key role in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing integration architectures that support business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

  • Build and maintain integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems, including cloud and on-premise environments.

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into integration solutions.

  • Develop and maintain integration flows, APIs, and middleware components to support enterprise system connectivity.

  • Ensure integrations follow best practices for performance, scalability, and security.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across complex application landscapes.

  • Support testing, deployment, and monitoring of integration solutions within project delivery cycles.

  • Contribute to integration architecture and middleware design standards across programmes.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 6–10 years of experience in enterprise integration or middleware development.

  • Strong hands-on expertise with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

  • Proven experience integrating SAP systems with third-party or non-SAP platforms.

  • Deep understanding of integration patterns, APIs, messaging protocols, and middleware design principles.

  • Experience working across hybrid system landscapes (cloud and on-premise).

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex integration environments.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP Integration Suite components.

  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, OData, and event-based integrations.

  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios.

  • Exposure to modern integration architectures and cloud-based integration platforms.
