SAP HR IT Consultant (SuccessFactors / Concur)
We are seeking an experienced SAP HR IT Consultant to support the management, enhancement and integration of a modern cloud-based HR application landscape, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Concur.
The role acts as a key interface between HR and IT, ensuring that HR and workforce-related processes are efficiently supported through scalable, compliant and well-integrated system solutions. A strong understanding of HR processes, SAP HR applications and integration technologies is required, along with a focus on continuous improvement and business value creation.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems Management
- Take ownership of SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Concur within the HR application landscape
- Ensure system stability, operational reliability, compliance and continuous improvement
- Configure and maintain HR processes across the employee lifecycle (hire to retire)
- Provide 2nd level support and act as application owner for HR systems incidents
- Monitor system performance, data consistency and process efficiency
- Evaluate new features and releases and assess their business impact
Integration & Architecture
- Manage and monitor integrations between HR systems and the broader enterprise IT landscape
- Ensure reliable data flows using modern integration technologies (e.g. APIs, middleware, cloud integration platforms)
- Support HR data architecture design, including security and authorization concepts
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security and regulatory requirements
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to and/or lead HR IT projects and system enhancement initiatives
- Translate HR business requirements into functional system designs and specifications
- Support testing, documentation and deployment of system changes
- Drive process improvements and standardization across HR systems
- Support change and transformation initiatives in an international environment
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as a trusted partner for HR and business stakeholders
- Coordinate with external vendors and implementation partners
- Support SLA monitoring and service delivery quality
- Contribute to HR IT roadmap discussions and planning activities
- Support budgeting and resource planning for HR systems initiatives
Required Profile
- University degree in Information Systems, Business Informatics, HR Technology or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in SAP HR / SuccessFactors environments
- Strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central required)
- Experience with SAP Concur is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle
- Experience in system integration environments (cloud-based architectures, APIs, middleware solutions)
- Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Experience in HR IT projects, including stakeholder and vendor coordination
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in structured environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with additional SuccessFactors modules (e.g. Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Compensation)
- Knowledge of payroll-related HR processes (country-specific payroll experience is a plus)
- Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks or project management methodologies (PMI, IPMA)
- Experience in multinational or matrix organizations
- Exposure to HR data governance and compliance frameworks
