SAP Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead a full ERP transformation from Scala to SAP S/4HANA. This is a business-critical programme involving system migration, process redesign, and stakeholder alignment across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ERP transformation programme (Scala ? SAP)
• Define and manage project scope, timelines, budget, and resources
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Oversee system integrators and third-party vendors
• Drive governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks
• Ensure successful delivery of key phases: design, build, test, deploy, hypercare
• Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
• Lead steering committee updates and executive reporting

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven track record delivering SAP implementations (ideally SAP S/4HANA)
• Experience migrating from legacy ERP systems (e.g. Scala or similar)
• Strong knowledge of ERP functional areas (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations)
• Expertise in project delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Hybrid)
• Experience managing large-scale budgets and cross-functional teams

Soft Skills

• Excellent stakeholder management (C-level engagement)
• Strong leadership and decision-making capability
• Ability to drive organisational change and user adoption
• Clear communication and conflict resolution skills

Desirable

• Industry experience relevant to client sector (e.g. manufacturing, retail, pharma)
• Experience with data migration and integration strategy oversight
• Familiarity with SAP testing cycles (SIT, UAT)
