Overview

We are partnering with a leading global automotive finance organisation undergoing a large-scale transformation of its customer communications platform. With a significant footprint across multiple markets, the business is modernising its legacy StreamServe environment and expanding its OpenText Exstream capability.

We are seeking an experienced Exstream / StreamServe Consultant to support the design, development, and optimisation of high-volume, customer-facing communications across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop customer communications using OpenText Exstream (Designer, Communications Builder, or equivalent)
• Maintain and enhance legacy StreamServe solutions, supporting ongoing migration to Exstream
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, dynamic document templates
• Implement data-driven logic and rules for highly personalised communications
• Support omnichannel output (print, email, digital)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams across regions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and brand standards across all communications
• Troubleshoot and optimise high-volume batch processing and performance
• Contribute to template rationalisation and standardisation initiatives
• Support testing, deployment, and production releases

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with OpenText Exstream and/or StreamServe
• Strong background in Customer Communications Management (CCM)
• Experience designing complex, data-driven templates
• Solid understanding of XML, XSLT, and structured data formats
• Familiarity with high-volume batch processing environments
• Experience integrating CCM platforms with core systems (e.g. CRM, billing, finance platforms)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in large, distributed enterprise environments

Desirable Experience

• Experience in financial services, automotive finance, or regulated industries
• Exposure to cloud-based CCM deployments
• Knowledge of document composition performance tuning
• Experience with template migration (StreamServe ? Exstream)
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments
• Understanding of customer journey orchestration and omnichannel strategy
