About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Safety Platform Software Test Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall software test status of a critical embedded safety platform software stack area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the test strategy and plans with domain software teams, including external software suppliers and partners.
- Define feature and component-specific test concepts and align these with other safety platform test managers and overall program activities.
- Create test status visibility and reporting for defined test levels and drive towards achieving set milestones.
- Ensure complete test coverage and traceability from requirements elicitation, design, implementation, integration, and testing of a modern POSIX-based software platform.
- Participate in software testing steering groups, contributing to process definitions and software test tooling.
- University degree in Computer Science or a similar field of study.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering and software test management in QNX- or Linux-based embedded systems.
- Expertise in test management, requirement engineering, and overarching traceability.
- Experience leading distributed software testing teams and managing relationships with various stakeholders.
- Software test management certification, such as ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level + Test Manager). (Preferred)
- Experience with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and Automotive SPICE (Advantageous).
