Job Description
We are looking for a Data Analyst for an initial 6-month contract, reporting to the EMEA IT Applications and Service Delivery Manager. This is an exciting opportunity that requires a lot of interaction with internal and external business partners and building the right solutions for complex business needs. In a fast-paced environment, you will have an opportunity to work with various tools and technologies and will be challenged to think outside the box.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Validate that mandatory Product and Commercial Website Data across 4 core systems (SAP, Product Information Management (PIM), Nice Label Printing and Commercial Website) is fully complete, and accurate by Product Category (logistics, barcodes, weights, dimensions, medias, DAM, product printing and environmental related information).
• Drives excellence and ensures continuous improvement in quality of data through cleansing and best practices for data construction.
• Manages data requests in support of business processes and new product sales initiatives.
• Provides input into the development of PIM data collection templates and workflows.
• Works collaboratively as a data steward within teams to ensure clear understanding of business requirements that are managed in concert with PIM data.
• Partner with the product introduction team to ensure all new products have required product data and available for data utilisation (e.g. product printing and marketing) before launch date.
• Apply detailed rules and requirements around product data and contribute to the development and enforcement of governance standards.
• Drive solution efficiency improvements by automating system process through integrations.
• Testing of minor change requests or projects with minor PIM related changes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERTISE EXPECTED
• Experience working with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Marketing, Engineering and/or IT.
• Ideally 3+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, information services, customer service, or a similar field.
• Experience with a product information management (PIM) system.
• Collaboration experience with different teams and departments to provide expertise and insight.
• Strong Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, such as Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented and a strict attention and appreciation for deadlines.
• Broad product knowledge across Retail and Manufacturing categories is an advantage.
• Experience of Data Feed integration (B2B & Commercial website) and familiar with major integration software, e.g. Dell Boomi, MuleSoft Anypoint and Workato.
• Positive attitude.
• Work onsite 5 days a week West Drayton plant.
