Enterprise Information Lifecycle Management Expert

Project Summary

We are looking for a senior, hands-on expert to support an enterprise initiative focused on improving how information is managed across its lifecycle: from creation to retention, archiving, and deletion.
The role will help define a practical, scalable, and compliant approach to data and document management, including operating model, governance, and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Define an enterprise information lifecycle model (create → use → retain → archive → delete)
Design the target operating model (governance, roles, ownership)
Clarify content management vs. archiving responsibilities
Establish high-level architecture principles for:
- Application retirement and archiving
- Document and file management
- Structured and unstructured data
Provide hands-on, pragmatic guidance
Support RFP preparation (requirements and evaluation approach)

Required Experience

10 years in enterprise archiving / application retirement and data retention and records management
Proven experience delivering legacy system decommissioning and archiving platform implementations
Strong understanding of information lifecycle management and structured/unstructured data
Experience in regulated environments (GxP) preferred
Strong stakeholder management across IT, business, and compliance
Ability to focus on simple, practical, and scalable solutions
