Job Description
Project Summary
We are looking for a senior, hands-on expert to support an enterprise initiative focused on improving how information is managed across its lifecycle: from creation to retention, archiving, and deletion.
The role will help define a practical, scalable, and compliant approach to data and document management, including operating model, governance, and architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Define an enterprise information lifecycle model (create → use → retain → archive → delete)
- Design the target operating model (governance, roles, ownership)
- Clarify content management vs. archiving responsibilities
- Establish high-level architecture principles for:
- Application retirement and archiving
- Document and file management
- Structured and unstructured data
- Provide hands-on, pragmatic guidance
- Support RFP preparation (requirements and evaluation approach)
Required Experience
- 10 years in enterprise archiving / application retirement and data retention and records management
- Proven experience delivering legacy system decommissioning and archiving platform implementations
- Strong understanding of information lifecycle management and structured/unstructured data
- Experience in regulated environments (GxP) preferred
- Strong stakeholder management across IT, business, and compliance
- Ability to focus on simple, practical, and scalable solutions
